Go2Rooms ("we," "our," or "the site") is a directory of rooms, apartments, and boarding houses for rent in Iligan City, Philippines. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how it's used — whether you're browsing listings on the website or using the Go2Rooms Android app.
Go2Rooms does not require an account to browse listings, and we don't collect personal information from visitors just viewing the site. Information is only collected when you voluntarily submit a listing through the "List a place" form, which may include:
Submitted information is used solely to publish your listing on Go2Rooms so prospective renters can see it and contact you directly. Your phone number (and email, if provided) is displayed publicly on the listing so renters can reach out — this is the core function of the directory. We do not use your information for advertising, marketing, or any purpose beyond publishing and displaying the listing you submitted.
Submissions are reviewed before publishing to keep the directory accurate and free of spam or fraudulent listings. Submitted information is stored securely with our form-handling provider (Netlify Forms) until it's added to the live site.
The Go2Rooms Android app may request access to your camera or photo gallery when you use the "List a place" form, solely to let you attach photos to your listing submission. No other device data is accessed or collected.
If you'd like a listing you submitted removed or corrected, contact us using the phone number listed on the About page, or reach out through the listing's own contact details if you're the property owner.
If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
